Mobile Adventure Race – May 1, 2010
Welcome to the 4th Annual Mobile Adventure Race. Our 4th installment will bring teams to an off-road adventure within a hidden Alabama treasure, Chickasabogue State Park. With miles of singletrack and pristine waterways, this will be another great adventure along the Gulf Coast. Teams of 3 will compete in coed, all-male, all-female, or coed masters divisions. Distances for this 3-4 hour course are approximately 10 miles biking, 4 miles canoeing, 5 miles trekking/running, plus mystery challenges.
Early registration fee is $70 per person plus $5.50 one-day license and includes your team canoe, paddles, life jackets, maps, t-shirts and a great post race party with food, drink, and music! Special team awards will be given to the top three finishers in each division. The race will also include the Massey’s Professional Outfitters $100 Treasure Hunt for great prizes to discover while out on the course! Limited to the first 100 teams. Race in one event, or in the entire series. Send your entry form in early to reserve your team’s spot.

Does anyone know anything about this site? What are the trails like? Alex? BR Comite? What do I compare these trails to? How about the water? What type of canoeing will we be doing?
Dave, your doing a great job getting us some new races and adventures. I look forward to making them all this year!

Eric, the trails are very similar to the Hooper/Comite parks in Baton Rouge. There’s a few small hills, but most of the trails are flat and fast. The trail system is split into both and east and west section divided by I-65. Very scenic paddling on a winding river. Oh yeah…lots of water. No portaging here! I hope you guys are enjoying the new venues to race at. We’re enjoying putting them on. This should be another great adventure! Dave

Dave, Flat and fast???? Which part was that? I think you put us going the opposite way on the trail, we went uphill 75% of the time. I am still hurting from that race, and it is now Tuesday. Had fun.
