New Orleans Urban Adv Race – Nov. 13, 2010

Welcome to the “Racing to N’awlins” Championship! This will be the Gulf Coast Championship event with trophies and prizes awarded to the top finishers for the series, as well as prizes in each category. Not interested in the series? Then, come out and enjoy and single race in the series.

This event will travel throughout New Orleans sending teams to checkpoints in locations such as the French Quarter, Warehouse District, parks, and more.

Teams of 3 will compete in coed, all-male, all-female, or coed masters divisions. Distances for this 4-6 hour course are approximately 12 miles biking, 5 miles canoeing, 7 miles trekking/running, plus mystery challenges.

Early registration fee is $75 per person plus $5.50 one-day license and includes your team canoe, paddles, life jackets, maps, t-shirts and a great post race party with food, drink, and music! Special team awards will be given to the top three finishers in each division. Limited to the first 100 teams. Race in one event, or in the entire series. Send your entry form in early to reserve your team’s spot.

I visit New Orleans a lot and plan to make it my home within a year. I have been looking for a first triathalon and this one seems like something I could do. However, I do not have a team. Is there anyway I can connect with other participants who would like to form a team?

hi i am 12 years old and would like to run i this race.i was wondering if there is an age minimum and if so i would like to know if i would be able to run.please e-mail me back thanks

We have had runners as young as 13 that have competed on their parents team. You will be required to fill out a consent form, but otherwise, we encourage parents to participate with their kids. This is a team event, so you will need two more teammates, and they should be adults.
